/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ You might get lost on your way, I guess, It ain't easy finding happiness. ^/\^Two painted creatures blurred past as they moved at high speeds through the pear and apple trees, their manes and tail flying and flapping wildly in the light breeze, and the high speeds they were galloping at. A lighthearted whinny escaped the mouth of the brown and white mare. "Ah... It's nice to stretch our legs out after the long night, isn't it, Zeel?" the younger twin, Ruaiin asked her older twin, Zeelias. "Sure is. I really enjoy running, the feel of the thundering ground beneath your hooves, the wind in your mane, the feeling is like flying, especially when," the black and white paint mare was cut off as she flew over the log with a grin, "You jump over logs!" Zeel's voice was filled with joy and excitement as she looked back for her sister. She skidded to a halt, her sister no where in sight. "Ray? Ray? Ray, where'd you go?!" Zeel's voice was worried and afraid, as she turned and galloped back to the log. There, she found her sister, laying on her side, her knees bruised slightly, but bleeding a bit. "Heh. I guess I didn't see the log," Ray smiled sheepishly up at the distressed look on her sister's face. "Sorry for worrying you," "Aw, Ray. Don't worry. Can you stand?" Zeel's expression was one of adoration and love for her younger twin, even if she was clumsy and, sometimes, an idiot. She still loved her. Ray was the only family Zeel had. Ray nodded and forced herself to her feet. She shook her mane into place and looked around. The twins looked around, uncertain of where they were. There were many pear and apple trees. It was beginning to drizzle. Zeel nodded to Ray to follow her, where the two mares pulled themselves under a large tree that canopied over them. Soon, it was pouring, and the two mares laid there, listening to the sound of the rain pounding off of the leaves. Ray began to doze off, but Zeel stayed wide awake, her eyes taking in every part of the surroundings. Only one word came to mind. "Home,"OoC: Sorry.. Sorta short. My muse is low. WC: 356

.x. executioner .x. so i'll stay up all night. with these bloodshot eyes.
well. here we are again, i suppose. going around and around in this endless circle of nothing-ness, wasting what little time we have on what little its worth wasting on. see.....i'd rather be set apart from society in a little way, any little way, any way at all, actually. whether it be the ivory tears that are so famously tattooed into my genetics, or the crystallized orbs that stare out at the world. i don't care. i never have. difference is the only thing that makes me memorable, my different colors, my different outlook on life, my different, well, everything. most call me big, mighty, and retarded, but i couldn't give a flying fuck about what they think. i just respond that they have insecurities and they should get looked at by a shrink. winning.
there's no going back after this. not even looking back, there isn't even any of that either. i felt just peachy, muscles pulling beneath my ivory torn coat with every beat my pistons made, strong, almost draft looking skeleton blurring through the orchards. toxic aqua pools glared from behind a shock of alabaster streaked ribbon, the end of which reached at least three inches bellow my equally ivory mug. snake arched wickedly, streaked tressles bouncing against the better half of my canon bones, my masc build was instantaneously noticeable, filed away neatly into the back of everyones tweaked little brains.
audits flickering nervous above my sharp featured cranium, the sound of softly spoke doves was unmistakable. two different beats as they ran, thrumming as one from the ground up, but i caught two scents as they pushed forth. eerily similar, they were, but separate none the same. the heathens had opened, the crystalline drops starting off small and quickly becoming bigger, the rain crashing down around me so harsh that the force of which the droplets stung. my steaming flesh was like a beacon in the dreary but clear air as i made my way through the orchard, daggers moving at a reasonable walk, mind wandering to the scent of the two femmes.
by the time i had worked my way to the other side of the orchards fog had settled in, thick and bountiful, making it hard to see more than two feet in front of myself. with my senses dampened i almost didn't notice the fae's curled together beneath the protection of a large tree, harks pricked forth immediately in interest. with grace that was surprising for someone as heavily blooded as me i entered the shelter of the tree, orbs bright as headlights and alive as ever as i gaze upon the company.

/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ Will we ever find, What we are looking for? ^/\^Zeel's eyes scanned over the sleeping form of her sister, the hammering of the rain on the leaves a comforting, soothing sound. Her orbs began to droop closed, when suddenly, off in the distance, a shadow moved. Her eyes opened wide and searched the rain, finally catching sight of the giant, lumbering body moving toward the shelter of their tree. Zeel's heart hammered against her chest. Her sister was sleeping, so if it was another horse, Zeel would have to deal with it. With a deep breath, she watched the horse move in.
He was tall, and pitch black. His orbs were wide, his black pelt soaked from the pouring rain outside. She watched his expression, searching for a hint of danger, but she didn't see anything. Zeel felt the need to speak, but felt frightened. She took a deep breath and spoke. "Err.. Hi," she started slowly, her voice failing her at the end. She realized he probably couldn't hear her. Shit, she thought the herself, frantically trying to think of what she should say next, I probably look like a freak... Um.... Think A minute seemed to pass, before she spoke again. "Um, hi. I'm Ruaiin, and this is--" she froze. She realized what she had done! She just said that she was her sister! She nearly died of embarrassment. "Sorry... What I meant to say is, I'm really Zeelias, but you can call me Zeel for short. This is my twin sister, Ruaiin, but you can call her Ray. You see, usually she socializes, while I sit out at the side. Now that she's sleeping, I have to speak for--" she stopped, realizing she was rambling. She looked up at the big stud and blushed slightly, "Sorry, I'm rambling. This is just all so new to me," Zeel's voice was quiet, uncertain. She was extremely embarrassed. With a deep breath, she looked up at the leaves, canopying above her. Each leave was green, and shook with the force of the rain. With another deep breath, she looked down at her sisters peaceful face, happy to see that her sister was the same, now that it seemed Zeel was changing. She closed her eyes for a moment, took one more deep breath, and looked up at the big, black stud. "Who are you?

.x. executioner .x. so i'll stay up all night. with these bloodshot eyes.
both femmes were colored, one a deep russet and ivory, the other an ebony and alabaster mix. audits flickering uselessly as she attempted to introduce herself, i brought my monstrous shadowed skeleton closer, masc form looking even burlier beside their two nimble bods. i didn't catch what she murmured until i got closer, hearing the lyrics 'zeelias' and 'ruaiin' just barely floating from the fog.
this zeel was, well, very normal. nervousness poured from her hide and words tumbled from her kissers faster than water down a stream, snapping her jaw shut when she realized that she was rambling. thick lips pulled back into a smile, i offered my title. "executioner. nice to meet you, zeelias."

/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ Will we ever find, What we are looking for? ^/\^Zeel watched him approach, her pearl pools fascinated by what they saw. Although Zeel would never admit it, he was quite the handsome stud. Immense and muscular, she felt small beside him. Executioner. She tilted her fragile dome slightly to the side, repeating the label he had announced in her head. Her pearly orbs stared down at her sister for a moment, and back up at the brute, Executioner.
Her sister stirred slightly in her sleep, and Zeel smiled. Such a precious dear. Zeels optics raised to Executioner again. "Same to you, Executioner. What are you doing around these parts?" she inquired in a velvet voice, her nervousness replaced by a more composed form. Her ribbons fluttered in the faint breeze, and she shivered slightly. The rain still poured from the heavens, the flora the only thing protecting them from becoming soaked.

you could tell that the femme felt more relaxed as my lyrics soothed her flickering audits, her tensed muscles liquidating against her skeleton as she looked upon my masc figure. pistons bringing me closer to the two cradled doves, i halted a few feet before zeelias with a soft, easy smile gracing my stony facade.
"simply observing." i offered, velveteen murmuring the words silkily as to not wake her comatose sister. with the warm, soupy mist stirring against my figure i pressed closer, proud, teardrop crown sinking to eye level with zeelias, orbits warm aquamarine.

/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ Will we ever find, What we are looking for? ^/\^Zeel's pearl orbs burnt into his, shock filling her features as he slid closer and lowered down to her level. Her audits listened closely for his words, only to relax after he had spoken. She felt so small next to him, yet safe, and easily relaxed. He was the easiest horse for her to be around, other than her sister.
He seemed relaxed, so at peace. Zeel got more and more calm by the moment, but it was still different for her. To socialize without her sister. Even though her sister was there, she was asleep, drooling for that matter, and it didn't help. She lowered her head and watched her sister for a moment, shaking her head and chuckling quietly. Her sister had no idea. She raised her eyes back up to Executioner. "And how is the observation going for you?" Zeel asked in a teasing tone. Her voice was calmer, slightly louder, hopefully loud enough for him to hear over the rain, but not quite loud enough to wake up her sister.

a soft, throaty chuckle rose from deep in my chest as zeelias glanced nervously at her sister, orbitals filled with love and understanding. i never had known any of my siblings....actually, maybe i had. but of course, the only way i would have known them was if i killed them back in my fighting days. the more the thoughts race around in my head the likelier they seemed, i vaguely remember tearing the throat from a femme who had begged to be granted life, seeing as i was her proudest son. but it was too late, she died before being able to say anything more.
and of course, i slaughtered my own offspring during my fighting years as well. none of them were easy to bring down, for i knew who and what they were as i forced upon them their last dying breath, but i did it anyways. its amazing what your survival instincts drive you to do sometimes, simply, purely amazing.
lost in thought with despair leeching from my very being, i snapped back from thought and into reality, managing a half-hearted smile for zeelias and an apologetic grimace. "well enough. what about you? what brings you to such wet lands?" i asked fighting back the depression that was cooing to be let in from the back of my mind.

/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ Will we ever find, What we are looking for? ^/\^Shock filled Zeel's features as she watched his expression change, his body radiating despair. A gasp caught in her throat, as she watched him closely, seemingly lost in his memories. She was confused, and didn't understand. She watched him as he continued that way for a moment, before returning to his normal self. The fae heaved a sigh of relief when he spoke again. What about her? Her and her sister had never really went anywhere for a reason, although she figured, now that she thought about it, there might be a reason. "My sister and I have been traveling around for awhile now. Although I must say, this is the first place I've truly felt at home at. I think I might convince Ray to stay awhile." Her voice was soft under the rain. Now that she realized it, the rain was slowing to a simple drizzle, the heavens above opening up. The sun peaked through slowly, and a drop of water fell to end the rain. Optics blinded momentarily, she blinked and watched outside of the protection, grinning happily at the new sun that had come. Ruaiin's eyelids fluttered open to the new light, the soothing rain halting, taking her sleep with it. "Hey sis. I had the best sleep--" Ray's orbs opened wide as she stared at the stranger in front of her, "Err.. Hi? My sister was actually talking to you? her voice changed to full of shock as Zeel laughed. "Of course, Ray. This is Executioner. He came in for shelter from the rain." Zeel smiled over at Executioner happily, her fresh green pools meeting his as if saying 'See? And other's wonder why I don't socialize much'

i winced, my soft, harmless mood making the shock on zeelias's facade at my overwhelming and sudden despair just that much harder to bear. a single crystalline drop fell from the flora above, landing half-way down the painted tear-streak that adorned my crown and tracing the alabaster down my mug. i managed another smile as she announced that this place finally felt like home, happy that they had found somewhere to dwell. "that's good, zeelias. its always hard to find somewhere to settle after so much time traveling."
a small laugh rumbled from my chest at the expression of comical shock on this ruaiin's mug as she took in my towering, intimidating form, surprised to learn that her sister had actually dared to speak to a stranger. "yes, an actual conversation!" i teased, thick kissers pulling back in a grin.
"pleasure to finally meet you, ruaiin." i offered, grinning at zeelias's 'she's the problem' expression.

/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ Will we ever find, What we are looking for? ^/\^Ray's eyes were wide with shock still, as she took in the full height of the brute in front of her. A deep chuckle shook Zeel's throat. "How does he know my name?!" the little Ray cried in disbelief, azure orbs sparking in confusion. "It's okay, Ray. I already had a little while to chat with Executioner while you were sleeping. No need to panic. You're fine." Zeel's voice was on the edge of panic, her sister slowly going into full panic mode. A deep breath escaped her sisters kissers, before her azure pools calmed down. "Okay, fine. Nice to meet you, Executioner. Sis, I'm hungry." Ray's voice was thick and dismissive, as she turned and trotted off. Zeel watched her sister in disbelief. "I have honestly never seen her like this. I wonder what's going on inside her head right now." Zeel's voice was worried as she looked at Executioner, wondering if her sister had offended him. "I'm really sorry about that." Zeel's voice was apologetic.

with a smile teasing at my kissers and warm feeling liquidating my veins, i couldn't help but admire how well zeelias dealed with her flighty sister, calming her down enough so that a full fledged panic-attack was avoided. although i was dismissed with a cold snort and an overworked excuse, but that was fine. many find my company unbearable.
"bad memories? who knows." i sighed, stretching my relaxed boa before winding up into a full-bodied shake, small droplets flying through the air as they were launched from my coat.
"it is fine, i have been given the cold shoulder many times before." i chuckled, my aura calm and approachable.

/RUAIIN\ and ^ZEELIAS^ You might get lost on your way, I guess, It ain't easy finding happiness. ^/\^Zeel shook her cranium slowly in frustration. "Probably mad I can do stuff without her," Her voice was quiet, not quite intended for Executioner to hear, although he probably did. "I am so glad she didn't have a panic attack there. I swear, she could have torn this whole forest down." Zeel's laughter was warm and playful, teasing about what had almost happened with her sister, knowing that it hadn't happened and, Zeel was now relieved, although still perplexed. She looked up into Executioner's warm face, and smiled gently. The sun beams warmed her back, and Executioner warmed her soul. Whether she liked it or not, she was changing. She could have a full conversation, and, although it's just one horse, one brute, it would soon change. She knew it. A gentle breeze blew through, Zeel's visage covered for a moment by her long white locks, before she tossed her head back and looked at Executioner again, feeling no need to many more words apart from what she had said. "sibling rivalry looks like such fun from the outside." i teased, folding my muscled, scarred pistons beneath myself and laying down across from zeelias, stretching out onto my side and burying part of my head in the damp emerald stalks, aqua marine optics a shock against the greens, blacks, and ivory's that surrounded them.
"hm, its always surprising what one headstrong mare can do all on her own." a soft smile graced my features as i gazed back up at zeelias, seeing as it was her turn to be the tall one. "she'll be alright....right?" i asked, just the slightest tint of worry clouding my lyrics. you never knew what kind of trouble lay just out of reach in these lands.

^ZEELIAS^ Don't think I can't feel there's something wrong You've been the sweetest part of my life so long I look in your eyes, there's a distant light And you and I know there'll be a storm tonight ^^ I watched the sun sparkle off of his armor as he lay down, his aqua eyes so bright in comparison to the grass and everything around it. My eyes followed him down to the ground, where I watched with joy as he spoke. Sibling rivalry. "Oh yes! Simply marvelous, isn't it? Have you ever had any siblings?" My voice was silky and drawn out in curiosity. I was always curious, but more cautious than my sister. My sister. I was worried about her, but knew she would be back in a few moments. ^^I was worried about my sister, but she would be back. I simply knew it. I drew in a breath. "She should be back in a few moments here..." My voice was gentle, and I realized that his was worried. I lay there, looking down at him, and waiting for Ray.
