Muse shunted his forelock away from his green orbs with a jolt of his head, tossing it upwards. He stood under a small pear tree, gazing in awe at the green fruits it yielded from its branches, he had never seen such things growing in trees before. Tilting his powerful head to the side slightly he narrowed is eyes before disregarding his interest in small green baubles that hung from the tree.
The skewbald stallion had not yet come across any equines on his travels so he didn't seem too interested in searching the area as he figured the chances are, it was desolate. He slowly made his way to a small clearing that had lush, vibrant, green grass sprouting. He lowered his head, grabbed a clump of it by its base and grazed happily whilst his tail swatted from side to side of his hind quarters and his ears swiveled back and forth, listening intently to his surroundings.
Oh what a gorgeous day for a gorgeous mare to take a stroll. Ok, so yes, little miss Mirex was a bit conceited. It had never hurt anyone. Too seriously, anyway. A smirk was plastered on her velvet black lips, mahogany bay body glinting like liquid fire as the late afternoon sun beat down on her fiercely. She tossed her neck up, silent except for the thud of her charred hooves pressing into the damp earth, and the occasional ffft of her charcoal tail splitting the air.
She never had been too terribly interesting in talking to anyone. They never had anything important to say. But Mirex was dying to have a little fun. Mess with a few heads, maybe. If it wasnt perfect timing that she spotted the skewbald stallion just upwind from her, then she didn't know what was. Her eyes lit up with a flame most would fear. This was exactly what she was looking for. Her stride lengthened into a steady trot, hardy hooves pulling her 15.1 hand frame uphill in even strides. She let out a nicker, innocence overflowing in the faked sound. As she approached she slowed. "Hey gorgeous, I'm Mirex, what about you?" She grinned, poison dripping from her lyrics. Hey- she couldn't hide her true self for long.
The stallion flung his head up, his two toned mane landing messily over his neck and his fore lock draping over his moss green orbs, that glinted as the suns powerful rays perforated them. He arched his neck as he looked the mare over, flaring his nostrils at her scent. With a look of disamusement to the mares cockiness, he raised his neck high and looked down at her with his brow lowered. "Do you want something?" he snorted, flattening his ears against the sides of his skull. He was usually compliant with others, but I guess everyone has off days...
She grinned, pleased with the fact he wasn't interested with her antics. This would be a fun one. "What do I want?" She repeated, rolling the words off her tongue until they purred. "Your name? Pardon me, but, are you so dense you did not hear my question?" She flicked her ears forward, enjoying this to a full extent. She liked this toy.
Obviously, she was not thrown off by his somewhat intimidating posture. Yes, he was taller than her, but Mirex had an ego that towered over three of him put together. She laughed in the face of danger- which was stupid, yes- but she didn't care. "Must I ask again, or do you understand this time, Doll?" She smirked cockily. "Ooo, Doll. I like that. Nevermind no name needed, I gave you a new one." She sounded giddy- almost drunk, really. That was her intention, though. "Watcha doin' here?" She raised her neck, to show she considered him no more than an equal to her, if not of lower standards.
I walked lightly on my feet, ears pricked, head low as I took in the scents around me. Another brute! And a mare as well. I raised my head up, eyes narrowed, staring ahead. I couldn't see them very well, so I moved in for a better view. I was quiet, walking almost soundlessly through the tall grass, like a cougar with it's prey in sight. As the pair came into sight, I almost drooled at the sight of the mare. She was very pretty, but I decided that the other stallion had arrived first...he could be the one to get the prize.
I decided at that time to announce myself. Lifting my hooves, I pranced over towards the other two horses, and tossed my head. Once I was within twenty feet, I stopped with a snort; head and tail raised, ears pricked, staring at the two horses in front of me. "Hello," I said. "My name is Derik, who might you two be?" I asked with a smirk. The mare had a sassy, playful look about her. Oh, she was gorgeous! And they looked a little alike too...how charming. However, socializing was my only goal at this time, and so I put on my friendly face, showing that I meant no harm.
How nice it was to meet new horses!
muse; lol notes; so, what he really looks like is very proud and a little bit....athorative, rather than friendly.....you could say "lordly". LOL

Muse pricked his ears forwards, acknowledging another horse approaching. He raised an eyebrow at the mare as if to say, 'do you know him?', before returning his gaze to the stallion. Muse was never any good at socializing, he found it very awkward at most. "Muse." he grunted in an impatient manner. "My name's.... Muse." he continued. He blinked his eyes repeatedly, lowering his brow once more, but this time in confusion. He dropped his head, so his posture was now casual and relaxed, resting one of his hind legs and giving his mane a quick shake so it now fell in place. His lucid green eyes examined the stallion, Derik. He was obviously mesmerized by this mares, Mirex', odd charm.
Flash stepped into the clearing with a swish of his mane. He narrowed his eyes as he spotted Mirex near two stallions. She had that look of deadly seduction on her face, a smirk hinting at the corners of her mouth."Mirex. That's quite enough." His voice was a command. "I know your games. Don't even think of trying anything on these stallions!"
Flash had run into this mare before, many times. He knew her routine by now... she would toy with the stallion's mind, then leave him thinking about what just happened. By the time he figured it out, she was gone. It was always the same thing, and he was sick of standing by and watching her toy with the innocent minds of stallions.

She frowned softly. "I like Doll better. M'kay? M'kay, good." She smiled brightly, black edged ears flicking in countless directions. She was becoming bored with this new play thing. As if right on cue, a little horse arrived, smaller than her. Her eyes lit up at the sight on his face, the day dreaming eyes that stared helplessly at her sleek blood bay body. He had already fallen for her. She smirked, turning her attention to the new arrival.
"Hey handsome, I'm Mirex." She turned the charm up a notch. "Where're you from? If they all look like you, take me home with ya." Her lips curved into a seductive smile. It was then she heard the boom behind her.
Unconcerned, she flicked an ear back, recognizing the voice instantly. "What's this? Back for another round, Flash, my love?" She smirked, hissing out the final words, my love. She turned in no hurry to face him, eying the big black with none-to-concerned eyes. She raised an eyebrow, stepping close to Flash and pressing her muzzle against his neck, a distorted sign of affection. "Oh how I've missed you!" She spoke in a dramatic voice, as if pleaing, then rolled her eyes. "Get out of here, big boy, you aren't up to my standards." She turned and flicked her tail dismissively, eyes landing on the disillusioned pony.
His eyes took in the two stallions before them. He knew that her next target would be the smaller one. He could see it in the way her eyes glistened with desire and mock passion as she looked his way. The poor stallion wouldn't even see it coming."This isn't funny, Mirex," he boomed in his deep bass voice. As she turned away from him he trotted in front of her to block her path. He knew she wasn't scared of her. But he knew that she stood no chance if she tried to use force to pass him. "Enough."

If I had eyebrows, they would have disappeared into my forelock. Well well, somebody was trying to seduce Derik the Brave! I would have none of it...but ooh, so enticing...no, a spectacular horse like myself does not fall for mares that love to play tricks. I was much to intelligent for that sort of thing. Besides, I had no interest...though she was a handsome mare, no doubt. I eyed the incoming stallion suspiciously. It seemed that he had the overall authority.
However, I decided to play along with the mare's "magic tricks" and I grinned at her. I had to be careful, and in some way I'd have to let her know I was above all that. "Darling, I am not worthy of such a beautiful creature such as yourself," I said in my most charming voice. "Mirex, what a lovely name. And hello to you, Muse...an interesting name, no doubt. Mr. Flash, I beg that you do not interrupt our conversation, as it is very rude." It was all I could do not to burst out laughing. Oh what fun!
The mare seemed to be handling herself quite gracefully, being among three stallions...what a number for a mare. Some mares would be overwhelmed by such a number of studs, but honestly, we all know who it was that really blew them away. Why, who could it be other than Derik the Brave?
muse: ahhahahaha notes; so meh lufflies, it looks like the order is Muse, Mirex, Myself, and mismile! XD

Rolling his eyes, he shook his head and raised a brow in disgust. He let out a snort before walking passed them all, arrogantly bumping his shoulder into Derik, in a bid to perhaps wind him up and exchanging a very unpleasant glare with Flash. His thick tail swayed from side to side as he slowly walked away from the crowd, his white hooves making blunt thudding noises as they met the forrest terrain. He was simply not in the mood to exchange pleasantries with fickle strangers.
A smirk arose on Mirex's pretty little face. "You think you can bully me into submitting to you, do you my love? To changing my ways?" Her words were once again a foul hiss the was poisoned with a toxic, stinging venom. Her eyes planted on the big black stallion who could easily overtake her. "Have you ever been so wrong, Flash? I think not." She snorted, tossing her head up defianly, eyes flowing back to Derik flawlessly, the fire in them changing.
"Oh, I know you don't deserve me, sweetheart. So here's a once in a lifetime chance." Her words curled upward in a seducting voice, eyes studying the small stallion. "Oh, it is a beautiful name, is it not?" She smirked before going into detail. "It's a mild toxin that can cause respiratory failure." She said in a fairly cheerful voice, considering the circumstances.
