The sands here are deep, scorching all those who are not used to their texture. It is hot, so hot during the days, but at night, the temperature drops below 0 degrees. A large oasis is on the boarder, and the horses drink from the cool, clear water. The grass here is limited and always a hue of yellow-green. Never is it like or will it ever be like the valleys or forests, but it does bring enough nutrients to the evil beasts that dwell in this climate. Although it is scorching, it is inviting to the ones who know of it's beauty. Great sand dunes capture any eyes that wander over it. Few shady trees are present here,but the ones that are, are the large ones with plenty of shade.
